He can hear WWV on 10 MHz and some CW on other bands, some short wave broadcast stations but that’s about it. When a 40-10 Meter dipole is mounted on a 10′ mast, can a 2 meter antenna be mounted to the top of the mast and not cause or experience interference? They will not be used simultaneously. Answer: This time of year when conditions are good, you may hear traffic from repeaters on the same output frequency in other areas. Pasadena has a repeater on 145.18 and it was probably them.
