25 Foot Fiberglass Portable Mast – MGS MK-4-HD mast with a custom made tripod.

25 Foot Fiberglass Portable Mast $100 This is an MGS  MK-4-HD mast with a custom made tripod so that it can be self-standing, or used with included guys for high winds. The height can also be adjusted for use in higher winds.   https://mgs4u.com/product/mk-4-series-25ft-masts/?v=7516fd43adaa the mast by itself costs $159.  The tripod is comparable to the $199 MFJ tripod.  The bottom tube is 2.5″ OD and the top is 1″.  The mast is non-conductive so it will not distort the antenna beam patterns. The tripod folds so the whole thing is 5.5 feet long to transport.  It has leveling feet to allow about a foot of the slope to be accommodated. This has been used successfully for many events and ARES drills and I have never needed to guy it.  Good for field days, event support, or post-apocalypse communications. It can be installed and taken down by one person.  It can also be used as a real tall camera tripod and a 1/4-20 threaded adapter is included to mount a camera on top. Wayne AF6GX   waynebee@cox.net
