We had another interesting net tonight with 8 check-ins plus net control Dave, AI6VX. Tonight’s topics included:

  • What is the likelihood of someone on a handheld in Santa Ynez reaching someone in Santa Barbara proper on simplex?
  • New equipment acquired for Santa Ynez Peak and should be deployed soon that will hopefully address the drop out issues when someone comes onto K6TZ via 145.180.
  • Headset AllStar node (Radio-less).
