AV-680 antennas use quarter-wave stubs on 6, 10, 12, and 17 meters and efficient end-loading coils and capacity hats on 15, 20, 30, 40, and 80 meters. NO RADIALS NEEDED.
I bought the antenna from DX Engineering, assembled it. It works great, tuned right up on all bands.
HOWEVER – my neighbor is on the warpath so I am replacing it with a shorter Butternut antenna.
This antenna sells for $600.00 new. You can have it for $300 cash, just come over (in the Hope Ranch area), take it apart and it’s yours.
